One of the most important links in the efforts to create a national theater in the modern sense is the tradition of jubilee booklets, which are created around the jubilees embodied in our theater. In addition to its historicity and continuity, this tradition also creates a remarkable corpus with the knowledge it has created. Jubilee booklets, which were formed under the concept of jubilee, were first organized in the name of Mardiros Minakyan in Turkish theater and appeared as the turning point of the jubilee and jubilee booklet of our theater history. After Muhsin Ertuğrul was appointed as the director of Darülbedayi in 1927, a jubilee booklet began to be prepared for most of the artists whose jubilees were held. These booklets, which constitute the basis of the difference between the commemorative ceremony and the jubilee tradition, passed from Darülbedayi to the Istanbul City Theaters as a transfer and formed their continuity. The tradition of jubilee booklets, which made jubilees permanent in Turkish theater history by recording the importance of jubilees into booklets, left these booklets, which we can call modernized biography examples, to Turkish literature. The basis of our study is the examination of the jubilee in Turkish theater and the jubilee booklets, which are the work of this tradition, in terms of both Turkish literature and the history of Turkish theater.
