The subject of this study is about Mehmet Akif Ersoy's personality and self-presentation. Mehmet Akif worked with all his might to enlighten the Turkish people with his poems, sermons, rich life experience and being one of the people in a period of difficult conditions such as the national struggle. He stood out with the hope and courage he instilled in society with the idea of glorifying his nation without any expectations. As a result of his contributions to establishing unity and solidarity in society, he managed to write his name in Turkish history as a patriotic hero. The aim of the study is to present a perspective extending to the personality, life and spiritual world of Mehmet Akif, who gifted the National Anthem to the Turkish nation, by making use of Erving Goffman's Theory of Dramaturgy. In line with the determined purpose, facial analysis of Akif, one of the important figures in Turkish history, was performed. In addition, based on the thinkers' opinions and suggestions about Akif, what impression he created on other people was examined. As a result, Akif's self-confident, stable and determined stance with his physical characteristics and the impression he created on other people with the poems he wrote, his life and his actions could be determined. Thus, a different perspective was created by shedding light on a side of Akif that has never been emphasized until now.
