Abstract

Klasik Türk Şiiri Eleştiri Terimlerine Bir Örnek: “Sûz-Nâk”

In this study, which was carried out with the aim of contributing to the formation of critical terms of classical Turkish poetry, the usage patterns of the “sûz-nâk” composition, which is frequently used in the evaluations of poetry in poet biographies and divans, were examined and the meaning areas covered by the composition were tried to be determined. Sûz-nâk, which is a compound adjective in Persian and appears in dictionaries as “burning, burning, touching, effective”, is generally used in accordance with its dictionary meaning when used as an adjective of poetry. However, in some evaluations of the tezkire writers and poets, it can be seen what they mean with this concept and which poems they describe as sûz-nâk. In these evaluations, “It tells about the love in the heart, the fire of love, the troubles, troubles and ache in the hearts of lovers whose hearts are burned with love; said in a loving style; describing the lover and his elements of beauty that burn like fire; spoken with desire; Describing separation and longing; said with a spiritual inspiration; it is stated that the poems that “burn the lungs and hearts of the listeners and readers and move them from mood to mood” will be sûz-nâk poems. Looking at these areas of use and evaluations, the dictionary meanings of the sûz-nâk composition are defined as “expressing personal feelings in an intimate way; affecting the heart; arouses emotions; emotional, heartfelt; penetrating, affecting, touching; enthusiastic, excited; pleasurable; sad; in love” etc. It is also possible to add meanings.
