Abstract


“Hâzâ Mevlûd-i Şerif-i Hadîcetü’l-Kübrâ” (Paris Nüshası) ve Özellikleri

Mevlûd-i Sherif-i ?adîjat al-Qubrâ is a religious story in verse with both Old Anatolian and Ottoman Turkish phonetic and linguistic features, written by Seyyid Abdulbâqi Sadıqî b. Mehmed en-Nawâhî in 1246/1830. The story is about the Prophet's marriage with Hazrat Khadija. In the article, firstly, information about the development of religious stories in verse in Turkish literature is presented and then different opinions about the author of the work are discussed. Afterwards, the biography of Hz Khadijah binti Huwaylid, one of the most important female figures in Islamic history, is given. In the next section, the manuscripts in the library catalogues containing religious stories in verse about Khadijah are introduced. In this section, the copy of the work in Paris Bibliotheque Nationale is discussed in detail. Then, the studies on the verse religious stories on the theme of Hz. Khadijah are mentioned. After mentioning the summary and linguistic features of the text, the determinations made about the vocabulary were also put forward in the study. The evaluations related to the current study of the Paris copy are included in the conclusion. The works used throughout the research are included in the bibliography section. Then the transcribed text of the copy is presented. The text published in this section is compared with the text read by Rahim Erarslan in 2016 by comparing the three versions. Spelling, word or couplet differences between the copies are shown in the footnotes.
